When she moved out of her apartment in the Executive Towers at Lido, LLC, her landlord refused to refund her security deposit. So, she initiated a Nassau County Small Claims Court action to have her deposit refunded to her. On the court date, the landlord failed to appear in court, and the tenant won a default judgment for the full amount of her security deposit.
