I use SEObook's rank checker to find the ranking of my sites. You name the URL of your website and list the keywords that you wanted to rank for and let the software determine the position of your website for each of the keywords in the search engines you choose.
Finding articles online and finding your article's position in the search engines is another matter.
It is very difficult and time consuming to find articles ranking for any given keyword. Unless you are in the top 10-30 positions of the search engine rankings (that is the first three pages), you can spend an inordinate amount of time searching page after page of listings looking for your article.
